US President Donald Trump recently reached a peace deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran. As President of the Republic of Colombia, in this month in which the country holds the presidency of the United Nations Security Council, I support and respect that deal, because it means more Life for the world. Based on my reading of the Bible, the constitutions of the world, and the international law established by humanity, this agreement must be respected by all nations. The State of Israel has decided to continue attacking the sovereign Lebanese Republic with missiles. I believe it is time for President Donald Trump to be fully supported by humanity to end this terrible conflict and for the people of Israel to help us ensure that their government stops attacking their neighbors, who can be their brothers and sisters, not their enemies. We stand with the Pact for Life and Peace of fraternal humanity.
